SBEC is the mechanical and electrical engineer of record for the remodel of the existing dining and warehouse space new culinary arts program. Specific scope of work includes:

  • Commercial-style kitchen
  • Dining, classroom and office space
  • Three gas-fired heating with indirect evaporative cooling packaged rooftop units
  • Six gas-fired heating and direct expansion (DX) coolingrooftop air handling units
  • Three Type-I kitchen hoods with exhaust and make-up air
  • Direct digital control (DDC) automation system
  • Hydronic heating system with gas-fired boilers
  • Two high efficiency domestic hot water heaters
  • Grease drain piping to 1,200 gallon grease interceptor
  • Fully automatic sprinkler system
  • Redesign of existing lighting system
  • Upgraded electrical distribution system
  • Modification of existing fire alarm system
  • Backbox and conduit system for new telecom and security systems
