This project constructed a new stand-alone 40-unit apartment building and landscape park area. The building has four floors and a full-size basement. The apartments are made available from the Hospital to spinal cord injury patient and family members who need a temporary place to reside in while accessing and receiving long-term physical therapy and learning home living skills. The apartment building provides a blend between self-sufficient apartments, with hotel-like lobby, meeting room facilities and in-room services.
All apartments were provided with separate individual dedicated bathroom exhaust and residential kitchen hood stove top exhaust fan.
The switches to operate the stove top exhaust fan, garbage disposal and kitchen task lighting are located on the front edge of the counter for handicap accessibility.
Designed load center panels for resident units including kitchen equipment, custom bed headboard, etc.
Designed complete lighting systems for resident units, kitchens, corridors, community rooms, etc.
