Denver, CO – Shaffer · Baucom Engineering & Consulting (SBEC) was selected to renovate the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for University of Colorado Denver’s iconic North Classroom Building Renovation estimated at over $29,000,000 in construction costs. The project will renovate the main atrium and 34 general assignment classrooms providing students with a more comfortable and efficient learning atmosphere.
The North Classroom opened in 1987 and became an iconic building, symbolizing a new era for the University of Colorado Denver. The new building became home base of operations for the Auraria Campus.
