Several Shaffer • Baucom Engineering & Consulting staff members worked together on Friday, April 13, 2018 for our first Adopt-A-Street cleanup of the year. We collected enough litter to fill approximately six heavy-duty trash bags from the embankment along South Hampden.
While seeing the positive impact we’ve been able to make along that stretch of road is a reward in and of itself, our volunteers were treated to lunch at Old Chicago afterwards as a sign of appreciation for their willingness to step up and help clean up our local community. Cheers to teamwork and doing our part to keep Lakewood clean!
