In 2011, SBEC was selected to provide HVAC design services (including temperature controls) and plumbing design services for the Rueter-Hess Water Treatment plant, located near Parker, Colorado.
The project consisted of the design and construction of a new 20,000 GSF water treatment plant encompassing 8,000 GSF of chemical storage, and 5,000 GSF dedicated to a new testing lab (wet lab).
The project included:
- Filter and Process: 33,700 GSF
- Shop, Electrical and Compressor Rooms: 3,900 GSF
- Chemical Storage: 9,300 GSF
- Lab and Administrative: 12,000 GSF
- Boiler Room: 700 GSF
